Lois Marie Jenkins

Lois Marie Jenkins (nee Lancaster), of Wentzville, MO, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Terry Jenkins; cherished daughter of the late Darrell and Elizabeth Lancaster; devoted mother of Tracy (Darren) Pelot; loving grandmother of Kacie Hoesli; bonus grandchildren, Gabe Pelot and Katy Pelot; dear sister of Gerald (Pat) Lancaster, and sister-in-law of Steve (Gay) Jenkins. Lois is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her sister, Vicki Lancaster.

Lois was a loving, caring, compassionate, and generous woman who touched the lives of everyone around her. She shared 63 joyful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Terry, and together they cherished every opportunity to have family around. Lois found great joy in nature, especially flowers and birds—hummingbirds being her favorite. She loved spending time working on jigsaw puzzles with her granddaughter and had a lifelong passion for singing, especially Neil Diamond songs. An avid traveler, she explored many places, with Hawaii and the canals of Venice among her favorite destinations. Lois was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
