Lisa Ann Mackey (nee Reed), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2026 at the age of 62. Beloved wife of 41 years to Jeff Mackey; cherished daughter of the late Jim and Phillis Reed; devoted mother of Justin (Cassie) Mackey, Ethan Mackey, Logan Mackey and Addi (Neal) Howard; loving grandmother of Maxwell, Wesley, Grayson, Avery, Aspyn, Griffin and Harrison; dear sister of David (Dena) Reed, Renee (Richard) Benkert and Rhonda Reed; treasured aunt of Nick, Shannon, Rachel, Hanna and Kristen.
Lisa dedicated more than 30 years to the practice of Dr. Houchin and Dr. Adams and devoted over 40 years to the healthcare profession. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, offering care, comfort, and support to anyone in need without hesitation. As a mother of four and grandmother to seven, her love and generosity knew no bounds. Lisa's family was her greatest joy, and she devoted her life to loving and supporting them.
She loved everyone she met, and her heart for giving saw no end. Lisa would give the last penny she had, then somehow find a way to give even more. She carried the burdens of others, walking with them through pain and always striving to make people happy. She met everyone where they were, never judging, and was the rock for her two sisters, brother, children, and grandchildren. Lisa gave gifts and treats to all kids, encouraged them, and spoke life over everyone she met.
In her free time, Lisa loved spending time at Lake Michigan, where she enjoyed swimming, sunbathing, and traveling in her camper. She had a deep appreciation for rocks and treasured her extensive collection. A talented artist, she found joy in creating beautiful works in her free time. Strong in her faith, Lisa lived her life with compassion, kindness, and a servant's heart.
Lisa was a remarkable woman who touched the lives of many. Her passing has left a significant void in the hearts of her family and community. Lisa was dearly loved and will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
To assist the family during this unimaginably hard time and to honor Lisa’s memory, donations may be made here. Every donation and prayer is deeply appreciated.
