Linnie Jean Neeter, 74, of O'Fallon, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, August 1.
Born on April 2, 1952, in St Louis, Missouri, Linnie was the beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, cousin, and friend of many. She was known for her strong faith, her enduring kindness, and the warmest and most sincere hugs a person could receive.
She is survived by her daughter Jessica Styers, sons Mike Mooney and Jacob Neeter, son-in-law Terry Styers, daughter-in-law Laura Neeter, and grandchildren Emma Neeter, Tinsley Neeter, Joshua Neeter, Olivia Neeter, Shayna Styers, Mick Mooney, Mady Mooney, and Colten Mooney. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Sherwin Neeter, and by her mother June Lusky.
Linnie found great joy in both the warmth of Florida's beaches and the warmth of a dining room full of family, friends, and good food. She will be forever remembered as a loving mother, cousin, and "bubbie" to her family, as well as a matriarchal figure to countless friends.
A visitation and funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 6, at Baue Funeral Home in Cave Springs (3950 W Clay St, St Charles, MO 63301). Public visitation will begin at 11:30am, with a chapel service beginning at 1:30pm, immediately followed by the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Linnie's memory to Stray Paws Rescue and the Jewish National Fund. Linnie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. May her memory be a blessing.
