Linda Susan Polkinghorne (nee Whatley), of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022, at the age of 73. Loving wife of Robert R. Polkinghorne; beloved daughter of the late Oscie and Dorothy Whatley; devoted mother of Michael (Michelle) Wadley, Jeffrey (Julie) Wadley, and Diana (Brandon) Worl; cherished grandmother of Nicholas Wadley, Lauren Wadley, Ava Wadley, Rowan Wadley, Colin Worl, and Everly Worl; dear sister of Richard (Paula) Whatley, David (Emma) Whatley.
Linda attended St. Mary's Nursing School and Lindenwood University. She was a self-employed medical transcriptionist for many years. Linda loved hot air ballooning, spending time working in her garden and photography. She took beautiful photos. Linda was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
