Linda Steinbecker

Linda Steinbecker (nee Oster), of Ballwin, MO, passed away Monday, January 19, 2026, at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Harold Steinbecker; cherished daughter of the late Frances and Ella Oster; devoted mother of Mike (Pam) Steinbecker, Jan (Gary) Moore, Lee (Jeanne) Steinbecker, and Sue (The late Edwin) Bergen; loving grandmother of Austin, Clayton, Brian, Lindsey, Steve, Lindsey, Chelsea, Nick, Hallie, and Chris; great-grandmother of Sebastian, Emma, Jillian, Gabriel, Thomas, Carly, Piper, Penelope, Savannah, Elliot, and Henry; dear sister of Lois Brewer; beloved companion, Bud Herron. Linda is preceded in death by her sister, Vona Koenig.

Linda was a devoted and loving mother whose greatest joy came from being fully present in the lives of her children and grandchildren, always offering her time, encouragement, and unwavering support. She was a shining light to those around her, known for her warm spirit, positive outlook, and deep commitment to family. Linda found simple happiness in the beauty of nature, especially in her love for hummingbirds, which reflected her gentle and joyful soul. Dearly loved by all who knew her, Linda leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love, and she will be profoundly missed.
