Linda Lou Schultz

January 30, 1940 — October 31, 2024

Ballwin, Missouri

Linda Lou Schultz (nee Lauderdale) of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, October 31st, 2024, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Jerry Schultz; cherished daughter of the late Muriel and Orbie Lauderdale; devoted mother of Dale (Veronica) Schultz, Debbie (Pete) Sperruzza, Diane (Philip) Holmes, and Donna Kessler; loving grandmother of Luke, Sarah, Gabe, Josh (Carla), Taylor (Nick), Mackenzie (Jonah), Kennedy (Terence), Sydney, Ray, Danielle (Ryan), Jake (Gina), Abby (Trent), Megan, and Zachary; treasured great grandmother of Everett, Emerson, Eleanor, Carson, Lola, Sloan, Palmer, and Jude; dear sister of the late Bobby Ray Lauderdale.

Linda, lovingly known as Grammy and Mimi, was a devoted caretaker to all. She dedicated herself to forty years working as a nurse to tend to NICU babies, surgery patients and everything in between. Linda poured her love into her family, creating the most memorable holiday gatherings, passing on traditional family recipes, and taking her children and grandchildren on trips to cherish for a lifetime. Linda’s adventurous spirit began at a young age with beloved trips to her grandparent’s farm in the summers. Her appreciation for nature’s beauty expanded into trips across the country in a caravan of campers featuring her husband and closest friends who started their journey together at Pinecrest Church Camp in Fredericktown, MO. Friends and family will remember Linda for her kind spirit, love of animals, quick humor and devout faith. Linda was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
