Linda L. Klohr

Linda Klohr, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and cherished member of the St. Charles and St. Peters communities, passed away surrounded by the love of a family that extended far beyond those related to her by blood.

Linda was born on February 25, 1951, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Louis and Jeanne Schatz. She attended Bayless High School and continued her education at the Lutheran School of Nursing. Throughout the many chapters of her life, Linda was known for her warmth, generosity, positivity, and extraordinary ability to make everyone she met feel welcomed and cared for.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Charles Klohr; her children, April Williams, Eric Klohr, and Bethany Klohr; her grandchildren, Stephanie Williams, Autumn Franke, Ayanna Klohr, Aiden Klohr, and Jaxson Klohr; and her great-grandson, Dominik Stanfield Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Jeanne Schatz; her brother, Louis Schatz Jr. (Butch) and her daughter-in-law, Kyoko Klohr. Their memories remained an important part of Linda’s life and the family she held so dear.

A devout Catholic, Linda’s faith was an important part of who she was and how she lived her life. Her faith could be seen not only in what she believed, but in the way she treated others—with compassion, generosity, kindness, and a willingness to serve. She gave freely of herself, opened her heart to others, and believed deeply in being there for people when they needed her.

Family was at the heart of Linda’s life, but to Linda, family was never limited to relatives. She had a remarkable way of bringing people into her life and making them feel as though they belonged there. Whether someone needed advice, encouragement, a helping hand, or simply someone they could count on, Linda was the person you could call. No matter how much she had going on, she found a way to make time for the people who needed her.

Linda also understood that strong families require more than love—they require time together. Even with family spread apart, she was very intentional about creating opportunities to bring everyone together. Giving her family the opportunity to spend meaningful time together, strengthen their relationships, create memories, and remain connected despite the miles between them. For Linda, bringing her family together was about making sure the people she loved had the opportunity to truly know and love one another.

Linda brought that same spirit of care and dedication to her professional life, spending more than 25 years serving the families of ADIO Family Chiropractic. Over the years, she built lasting relationships with countless individuals and families, many of whom became much more than people she encountered through work. Her years of service reflected the way Linda approached life—investing in people, building genuine relationships, and making those around her feel welcomed, valued, and cared for.

Linda was also an entrepreneur with a passion for events and decorating. She had a natural gift for bringing people together and making occasions feel special. Her creativity and talent became another way for her to serve others, allowing her to be part of countless celebrations, milestones, charitable events, and community gatherings throughout the years.

Service to others was woven throughout Linda’s life. She generously gave her time, talents, creativity, and energy to numerous charitable events and causes over the years. Among the organizations close to her heart was Re-Emerge, a local organization dedicated to supporting veterans in the community. Whether she was volunteering her time, helping bring an event to life, supporting a local cause, or simply stepping in wherever someone needed help, Linda believed in showing up for others.

Linda was a prominent and active presence throughout the St. Charles and St. Peters communities for many years. Through her involvement with the St. Charles Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce, her charitable work, the events she supported and hosted, and the countless relationships she built, Linda helped people, supported local businesses, connected members of the community, and left her mark wherever she went.

Linda did not simply participate in her community—she helped build it. Her impact can be found in the businesses she supported, the causes to which she gave her time, the events she brought to life, the friendships she nurtured, and, most importantly, the people whose lives were better because they knew her.

Those who knew Linda will remember her warmth and positivity, her generosity with her time, and her genuine desire to help others. She had an extraordinary ability to make people feel important, included, and loved. She opened her heart to people freely, and in doing so created a family and community around herself that reached far beyond what could ever be captured in a list of names.

Linda leaves behind an extraordinary legacy—not only in the family she loved so deeply, but in every person she helped, every relationship she built, every gathering she made special, and every life she touched.

Perhaps one of the greatest ways to honor Linda’s memory will be to continue what she worked so intentionally to create: to make time for one another, to stay connected, to welcome others in, to help when we can, and to keep family close no matter the distance.

The faith that guided Linda throughout her life offers comfort to those who loved her, knowing that she now rests in God’s eternal care.

She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of the many people fortunate enough to have known and loved her.
