Linda Costello

Linda Susan Costello (nee Cole), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2026 at the age of 72. Beloved wife of Mitchell “Mitch” Costello; cherished daughter of the late John and Clara Cole; devoted mother of Donny Ray Costello; dear sister of Johnny Cole and the late Mary Ann Cole; sister-in-law of Mike, Vicky and JoAnn.

Linda devoted her life to caring for those she loved, especially her mother and sister. She was strong-willed, never afraid to speak her mind, and always stood her ground. She remained true to her values, never compromising her morals. Her feisty spirit, honesty, and determination were among the many qualities that made her so special.

Linda found great joy in nature. She loved spending time at the lake, sitting on the deck and watching the beauty of the outdoors. She had a true gift for gardening and nurturing plants, proudly growing four trees in her home from small plants. She truly had a green thumb.

She also expressed her love through cooking. Whenever she was able, Linda prepared complete home-cooked meals, always making sure there was a vegetable, a side dish, and a main entrée for those gathered around her table.

Linda was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her strength, kindness, and unwavering love for her family will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

Memorials may be made in Linda's name to the donor's choice.
