Linda H. Bacon

In Loving Memory of Linda Helene Bacon.

Linda Helene Bacon of Harvest, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. Linda lived a life characterized by her deep faith, vibrant spirit, and unwavering love for her family and friends.

Linda understood the value of hard work and education, proudly earning her Bachelor's degree from Athens State. She went on to build a meaningful and successful career, eventually retiring from federal service.

A woman of many interests, Linda embraced life with joy. She was an avid traveler, enjoyed bowling, and found great comfort and community in attending church. She could frequently be found enjoying a spirited game of bunco or playing cards, always treasuring the laughter and time spent in the company of those she held dear.

Family was the center of Linda's world. She leaves behind a legacy of love and is survived by her two devoted sons, Marvin Dwayne and Jeffrey Allen, along with her daughter-in-law, Amber. She was a proud and loving grandmother to her three grandchildren, Tate, Jeffrey, and Leola, and a cherished great-grandmother to her great-granddaughter, Ivy Jewel. She is also survived by her two sisters, Sandy (with her husband, Paul) Schwendemann and Renee (with her husband, Terry) Taylor. She was a treasured aunt to her niece, Katy, and nephew, Cory.

Linda has been reunited in peace with her beloved husband, Marvin Lee Bacon, and her parents, Don and Ethel Parker, who preceded her in death.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
