Lily "MiMi" Schneider

Lily “MiMi” Schneider (nee Jansen), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at the age of 75. Loving wife of the late Arthur Schneider, Sr.; beloved daughter of the late Elsie and Henry Jansen; devoted mother of Arthur Artie (Coya) Schneider and Mark (Tricia) Schneider; dear sister of Henry Hank (Marianne) Jansen, Marilyn (Ron) Koester, and Rick (Janet) Jansen; cherished grandmother of Kaitlyn (Barret Kruse) Schneider, Nicki Schneider, and Trey Schneider; treasured great-grandmother of Taylor Williams and Autumn Williams.

Lily, known affectionately as "MiMi" to her grandchildren and acquaintances, shared a deep affection for her family. She was a devout catholic. Alongside her husband, she spent 17 fulfilling years in the role of "Ms. New Town." They navigated the community on a golf cart, participating in organized activities with their grandkids such as quilting, sewing, painting, and making crafts. Lily's compassionate nature extended to animals as well. Lily worked for Edward Jones for 30 years before retiring.

Within the tight-knit New Town community, Lily's friends played a vital role. They offered invaluable assistance during her and her husband's illnesses. Lily cherished her connections to both the town and her friends. Lily was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Lily 's name to American Cancer Society.
