Lillian “Katherine” Burns

Lillian “Katherine” Burns, of St. Louis, MO, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017, at the age of 88. Beloved daughter of the late Buren and Effie Thompson; devoted mother of Sherry Hart and Kathy Ham; loving mother-in-law of John Ham and Harold Beckham; cherished grandmother of Matthew (Joanna) Ham and Sarah Felty; treasured great-grandmother of Brendan Felty, Brett Felty, Joshua Ham, Caleb Ham, and twins on-the-way; dear sister of Bonnie (the late Richard) Ketcherside, and the late Buren Thompson, Jr.

Katherine retired from KV Pharmaceuticals after more than 35 years as a Lab Technician. She loved shopping at West County Mall, and gardening flowers. She was very generous and cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed listening to big band and swing music on the radio. She was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
