Lillian Eileen Flinkstrom

Lillian Eileen Flinkstrom (nee Clever), of Saint Louis, MO, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at the age of 88. Cherished daughter of the late Clifford Joseph and Claralillian Christianna Clever; devoted mother of Donna (Bob) Kaltmayer and David Hamilton; loving grandmother of Allison (Tanner) Hageman and Justin (Hannah) Kaltmayer; great-grandmother of Emma Hageman; dear sister of Evelyn (the late Ralph) Westerhold and Donald (Sheral) Clever, Sr.; sweet aunt to many nephews and nieces. Lillian is preceded in death by her two brothers, Clifford (the late Patricia) Clever and Walter (the late Catherine) Clever.

Lillian found joy in life’s simple pleasures and, above all, in the love she shared with her family. She was a proud member of the Happy Hooker Quilting Club, where she generously gave her time and talents to create lap blankets for veterans and hats for newborns, sharing warmth and comfort with others through her thoughtful handiwork. In her free time, Lillian enjoyed reading, playing dominoes, and watching her favorite television game show, Wheel of Fortune. She also had a love for traveling and treasured the opportunity to explore new places and make lasting memories along the way.

Her greatest happiness, however, came from spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, who held a very special place in her heart. Lillian’s caring nature, generous spirit, and love for those around her made her a cherished presence in the lives of so many. Lillian was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Lillian's name to Salem Lutheran Church in Affton, Missouri.
