Lester Marion McMillian

March 6, 1941 — September 20, 2023

St. Charles, Missouri

Lester Marion McMillian, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at the age of 82. Beloved husband of 56 years to Carrol McMillian; cherished son of the late Adell and Eugene McMillian; devoted father of Kim (Jeff) Kinney, and Michelle (Eric) Hackl; loving grandfather of Brittany Bickford, Michael Bickford, Nathan Bickford, Geneva Hackl, Christian Hackl, Eli Hackl; precious great grandfather of Colby Bickford; dear brother of Bill (Tina) McMillian, Jim McMillian, Linda (Don-deceased) Mungle, Betty (Ken-deceased) Nance, and Bobby McMillian.

Lester was an incredible man that loved the Lord, first and foremost and would share the Good News of Jesus with everyone he met. He genuinely enjoyed spending every moment he could with his family. Lester’s main passion in life was the bus ministry. He served as the bus director for over 40 years at Grace Baptist Church. He loved to travel with Carrol and their grandkids, he especially loved going to Branson for their annual southern gospel picnic. He loved gardening, maintaining an immaculate yard, and above all else, sitting on the back patio reading his Bible and listening to his gospel CD’s. Lester served in the United States Air Force prior to working at General Motors for 20+ years. It may seem like a great light has been extinguished from this earth but that light is shining brighter than ever before in Heaven. In Carrol’s words, “God took my ray of sunshine, but let’s His love shine through my heart.”
