Di Natale, Lester “Dino”, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Friday, June 18, 2010 at the age of 83. He was the oldest son of the late Joseph Di Natale and the late Lena Di Natale (nee: De Stefano), the husband of the late Fay Di Natale (nee: Prange), and brother of the late Sam J. Di Natale. His daughters Leslie Di Natale of St. Louis and Lisa Shepherd of Derby, KS survive him as do his grandson Matthew Dalpini, granddaughter Laura Dalpini, both of Derby KS, and his brother Geno Di Natale of St. Charles. He attended Jackson Elementary School, Hadley Technical HS, and Central HS in St. Louis, Sacred Heart HS in Valley Park, MO, and Piggott HS in Piggott, AR. He served in the US Navy from 1944 until 1966 during WWII, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He retired from the Navy in 1966. He was subsequently employed by McDonnell-Douglas and retired in 1987. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association MAL, a member of the USS Epperson Association, and a lifetime member of The Tincan Sailors, Inc. He was a Plank owner of the US Navy Memorial Washington, D.C.
