Shownes, Leo C., of St. Louis, Missouri, died on Friday, December 27, 2013 at the age of 90. Loving husband of the late Dorothy Shownes; beloved son of the late Lena Shownes; devoted father of Ronald (Ruthie) Shownes, Linda (Pete) Maniaci; cherished step-father of Kenneth R. Moore, Judy Schwent, Larry A. Moore, and Brenda Fenimore; treasured grandfather and great-grandfather. He is preceded in death by all of his siblings.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
