Lee R. “Frog” Casten

Casten, Lee R. "Frog", of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Sunday, March 4, 2012 at the age of 75. He was the loving husband of Christine Casten (née: Kurtz); beloved son of the late Hermann and Lillian Casten; step-father of Hannah Rose Fuerhoff; dear honorary grandfather of Sarah and Sally Pohl; brother of Jerry (Claudia) Casten; uncle of two nephews and one niece; and beloved friend to many. Lee's family would like to extend a special thanks to "Memory Care" staff at Villages of St. Peters and the Cardiology Unit at BJC St. Peters. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Ferne Casten (née: Heins); and brother, Dillard Casten. Lee was employed as a Supervisor at Laclede Gas and a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church of St. Charles. Memorials may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church (Lands and Grounds Fund), 2800 W.
