Lawrence "Larry" Charles Bunt, Sr.

On Friday, January 6, 2023 Lawrence "Larry" Charles Bunt passed away.  Larry was born September 7, 1947 to Walter and Mary Bunt.  He will forever be remembered by his wife of 52 years, Joyce; their children, Kimberly (Renard) Crossen, Cheryl (Bill) Hunn, Larry Jr., Stephen; and his sister, Sue.  Larry will also be lovingly remembered by his nine grandchildren, Kelsey, Jacob, Connor, Abby, Andrew, Ryan, Tyler, Olivia, and Elizabeth; and his great grandchildren, Oliver and James.  Larry will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.  He was also preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings, Wally and Mary Ann.

Larry worked for more than 40 years as an Insulator with Heat and Frost Insulators Local #1.  He enjoyed a long retirement with many hobbies including gardening, which he had a large vegetable garden he shared with his friends and family every year.  He loved the outdoors and taking walks or bicycling on the local trails, as well as going to the park with his grandkids.  He always looked forward to a round of golf or going fishing with his buddies.  Larry was also an avid bird watcher and enjoyed catching a glimpse his favorite winged friends while sitting in his yard.

Larry was blessed with a beautiful family, and he cherished spending time with them.  In his younger years, he coached his kids’ soccer, baseball, and basketball teams, and he had a blast cheering them on. 

As a man of faith, Larry was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.  He enjoyed volunteering at Our Lady of Good Counsel nursing home.  He will be missed by all, but his memory and legacy will live on forever.
