Laverne H. "Cissy" Vessells

Laverne H. Vessells (nee Jost) of St. Peters, MO, fortified with the Blessed Sacraments at the age of 99, passed on June 5, 2024. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leonard (Joe) Vessells; her parents, Harry, and Helen Jost (nee Jaggie); and her sister Doris Boyce (nee Jost). She is survived by her brother, Harry (the late Connie) Jost Jr.; her niece, Denise Jost; and many other cousin family members. 

Laverne was blessed to be able to remain in her own home until the last month and enjoyed having conversations with people she knew. Her warm, inviting personality was a source of great happiness for her friends and loved ones. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Memorial contributions in Laverne's name may be made to Memorial Masses at All Saints Church, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, St. Vincent DePaul, or Masses, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
