LaVan O. Sydnor is survived by his mother, Marie Sydnor; his daughter, Carmella Burris; two grandsons, Brandon and Anthony Burris; and four siblings: Josephine M. Sydnor, Mary Young (Eulus), Inita Jones, and Florence Bernard Sydnor. Mr. Sydnor was preceded in death by his father, Florence Sydnor.
