Larry K. Walton

Larry Kim Walton, of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the age of 77. Loving husband of 38 years to Brenda Walton; beloved son of the late Kim and Ellen Walton; devoted father of Robin Walton (Barry Carroll) and Eric Walton (Jason Kirchner); dear stepfather of Larry Little; cherished Pa Pa of Chelsea Little and Evan Little; dearest brother of James R. (Claudine) Walton, the late Jessie Faye (W.E.) Thompson, the late Hellen (Bill) Burg, the late Buddy Walton, and the late Jerry Walton. 

Corvettes were Larry’s passion, and he was a member of the Boone Trail Corvette Club.  He owned five Corvettes throughout his life, a Red ’76, Black ’95, Red ’98, Black 2006 and Red 2012, and he loved going to car shows with them.  

Larry and traveled with his wife to just about every state and 9 provinces in Canada in his Corvettes. They traveled to Alaska by land, train and cruise, and they took their last trip to New Mexico and traveled all through the state. Larry liked to be on the go and driving around in his car.   

As a family man, Larry was very close with his family loved spending time with them. He looked forward to his Class Reunions every Labor Day, which always turned into a family reunion as well. He valued being there for his family and taking care of them. Larry also enjoyed the outdoors and listening to the birds. He liked keeping up his yard and took special care of his mother’s pink rose. 

Larry will be remembered as a hard-worker and dedicated family man. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  

 Memorial contributions may be made in Larry's name to Alzheimer's Association.
