Larry D. Shirley

Shirley, Larry D., of St. Peters, MO, died on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at the age of 67. Loving husband of the late Karen Shirley (nee: Niehoff); beloved son of the late Alvis and Sadie Shirley; devoted father of Danny (Danielle) Shirley, Tammy (Kacy) Ruth, and Kelly (Ben) Monarch; cherished grandfather of Dexter, Deacon, Demi, Colin, Lennon, and Gemma; dear brother of Alvin (Marilyn) Shirley, Evelyn (David) Head, and Ronnie (Helen) Shirley. Our dear nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Larry proudly served his country in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed watching sporting events, reading books, and going to the movies. He was a computer programmer and was valued for his intelligence, efficiency, and creativity. Mostly, Larry loved being with his family and friends, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
