Lana Sue Brashears

Lana Sue Brashears (nee LeSieur), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at the age of 76. Loving wife of Gary Max Brashears; beloved daughter of the late Adam R. and Genevieve J. LeSieur; devoted mother of Sarah (Erik) Lawrenz and C.B. (Matt) Caldwell; cherished grandmother of Brandon Jones, Magnus Lawrenz, Lila Caldwell, and Jake (Shae) Caldwell; and was a loving aunt. Lana is preceded in death by her sister, Sandi (Denny) McConnell.

Lana had a big heart. She was an animal lover, loving all critters both wild and tame. She enjoyed traveling; visiting many countries as well as 49 of the 50 states. She enjoyed the thrill of a St. Louis Cardinals game as she paced around the house.

Lana and Gary spent 56 loving years together and built a beautiful family. Family was most important to her.  Her daughters and grandchildren were her pride and joy.  Lana was not only a mother to her own, but she also became a mother figure to many. Lana was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
