L. Marie Duisen

L. Marie Duisen (nee Hanner), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of 54 years to the love of her life, Kenneth H. Duisen; beloved wife of her second husband, Joseph Stark of 10 years; cherished daughter of the late Curtis and Jean Hanner; devoted mother of Todd (Amanda) Duisen; loving grandmother of Spencer (Derek) Milkovich and Brenna Duisen; niece of Pauline Kibler and Carol (Mickel) Hamlin; Marie is also survived by her best friend, Mary Billings.

Marie was a strong and independent woman who owned and operated KMD Linen with her husband, Ken, serving as CEO and business owner until the time of her passing. She was a dedicated and hardworking woman who took great pride in all that she accomplished.

Marie had a love for the finer things in life. She enjoyed shopping, wearing beautiful clothes, and always had a fancy style of her own. She also loved to read and had a deep appreciation for flowers and their beauty.

Marie enjoyed spending time at the lake, watching the boats, and making special memories with Ken.

Marie will be remembered for her strength, determination, hard work, and love of life. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will remain in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have shared in her life.

Memorials may be made in Marie's name to Solace Hospice House.
