Krista Behrndt

Krista Behrndt, a devoted wife, mother, and cherished friend, passed away on March 11, 2025, in Lake St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of 52. Born on July 19, 1972, in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Krista's journey through life was marked by her dedication to her family and a vibrant career that spanned multiple esteemed airlines.

Krista began her professional journey as a flight attendant with TWA, American Airlines, and Southwest Airlines, where she embraced the opportunity to travel the world. After welcoming her twin sons, Pierce and Mason, into the world, she held a few different jobs, but her most recent was at Treat Planet, where she served as a floor supervisor.

As a mother, Krista took great pride in watching her boys grow and supported their love of sports, cheering from the sidelines.

Krista leaves behind a loving family that includes her devoted husband, James Behrndt, her sons, Pierce Cooper Behrndt and Mason Scott Behrndt, her stepsons, Brock Behrndt and Chase Behrndt, her mother, Betty (Keith) Andersen, and her father, Dana Keith (Jennifer) Haselgrove. She is also survived by her brother, Geoffrey (Dakota Black Hawke) Haselgrove, her aunt, Barbara Amos, and her in-laws, Paul and Barbara Behrndt. Krista's sister-in-law, Pam Larson, and nephew, Ethan Larson, will also carry fond memories of her warmth and kindness.

Krista was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents: Omar Haselgrove and Iradean Haselgrove, as well as Velma Leggett and Jack Dempsey Leggett.
