Kevin Michael Carmack

Kevin "King” Michael Carmack, of St. Peters, Missouri, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023, at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Kim Carmack; cherished son of the late Ivy “Mack” and Wanda Carmack; devoted father of Chelsea (Tyler) Gilmore, Christian (Heike) Carmack, and the late Connor Carmack; dear brother of Sheila (Pat) Jackson, and Glenn (Rita) Carmack; loving grandfather of Remy, Blair, and a grandson on the way; precious uncle, cousin, and friend to many. 

Kevin dedicated over 30 years to Southwest Airlines, where he not only excelled in his career, but also met the love of his life, Kim, and together they became known as the airline’s King and Queen. Kevin loved the Lord and was a devoted member of Waypoint Church where he participated in the worship band playing the guitar. He had a passion for music, and could effortlessly play any song. He also possessed the unique ability to fix guitars and amps with precision. 

In his free time, Kevin cherished his time at the St. Ann Golf Course, where he often played alongside his son, brother in-law and friends. He was a supporter of the St. Louis Cardinals, bringing joy and enthusiasm to those around him. Kevin’s absence leaves a significant void, and he will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by those whose lives he touched.
