Kelly J. Mucci

Kelly Jean Mucci (nee Strickland), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at the age of 49. Devoted mother of Hayley (Chad) Surratt; cherished daughter of Olvis Strickland and the late Christine Mucci; dear sister of Raymond Strickland; her significant other, Chris Vaughan; his children, Chayse & Ava Vaughan, Hayley (Mike) Cichacki and Brittany (Kevin) Meyer; and her grand dogs, Butch and Pebbles. Kelly is preceded in death by her son, Michael Tharp and her dog, Squish. 

Kelly relocated to Missouri in 2018 to be closer with her daughter Hayley. She was a minister and was able to perform beautiful wedding ceremonies. Kelly enjoyed traveling, campfires and reading. In her free time, she loved trying new wines and listening to music. Kelly loved viewing Christmas lights during the holiday season, but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family. 

Kelly was able to be an organ donor with Mid-America Transplant. She was a dedicated employee, who went above and beyond in every career opportunity she had.

Kelly was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Kelly's name to Five Acres Animal Shelter.
