Kelly Lee Moore

March 4, 1978 — May 16, 2026

Saint Charles, Missouri

Kelly Lee (Copley) Moore, born March 4, 1978, passed away on May 16, 2026, at the age of 48. A mother of four, Kelly was known for her quick wit, sharp sense of humor, and her ability to find laughter even in life’s hardest moments. She marched to the beat of her own drum—fierce in her intentions, deeply protective of those she loved, and unafraid to stand firmly on her own.

Kelly’s life was defined by resilience and a love for her family that never wavered. She was a fighter—through joy, through heartache, and through the many challenges she faced. Beneath her strength was a woman who loved deeply and fiercely, especially her children, who were the center of her world.

In her younger years, Kelly was the “cool older sister,” creating memories that would last a lifetime—whether sitting shoulder to shoulder on a bunk bed waiting to record her favorite song from the radio, or turning even the smallest spaces into places filled with laughter, connection, and warmth. She had a gift for making something out of nothing, creating joy where others might not have looked for it.

Kelly became a mother early in life and poured herself into that role. She welcomed her first son, Corey Moore, with a love that shaped her life. Corey’s passing in 2015 was a heartbreak she carried throughout her years. She later raised her second son, Tanner Moore, with immense pride, especially as she watched him grow and build a family of his own. She was their biggest fan especially when it came to their sports. Always front row in the stands as one proud mama and she never missed a game. Kennedie Moore, her daughter, brought renewed light into Kelly’s life—her first girl, the inspiration for countless photos, giant flower and bow headbands, and moments of joy. In 2021, Kelly welcomed her youngest daughter, Eleanor Kincade, a new chapter that reflected both her enduring love and continued fight.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis Case (née Accardi); her father, Kevin Lee Copley; her beloved son, Corey Aaron Moore; and her grandparents. Kelly’s legacy lives on through her family. She is survived by her children, Tanner Moore, Kennedie Moore, and Eleanor Kincade. She was a proud grandmother to Tanner’s children: Paisley, Parker, and Harper, who brought her great joy. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Soffner and Ann Newbolt; her stepfather, Randy Case; and her stepbrother, Matt Case.

Kelly will be remembered for her strength, her humor, her stubborn independence, and the deep love she carried for her family. She lived life in her own way—unfiltered, unapologetic, and full of heart. Though her journey was not without hardship, she leaves behind memories, laughter, and a lasting imprint on those who knew and loved her.
