Keith Feilner, 65, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on July 7, 2026, in St. Charles, Missouri. Keith was known for his steady nature, his kindness, and his deep devotion to his family qualities that shaped every chapter of his life and every relationship he held dear.
Keith leaves behind his wife, Marge, who walked beside him for 42 years through every season of life. Together they built a home filled with laughter, resilience, and unwavering partnership. He is also survived by his children-Michelle Feilner, Nicholas Feilner, Vanessa (Andrew) Dahm, and Valerie (Brandon) Ashcraft-each of whom carry pieces of his steadiness, humor, and heart. His grandchildren, Cameron, Caroline, Lydia, Brantley, and Maverick were his delight, and he never missed a chance to brag about them.
Keith is remembered as well by his uncle Ronnie and aunt Ruth, who held a special place in his life. He is also survived by siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever cherish his presence and the quiet strength he brought into their lives.
After retiring early, Keith filled his days with the things he loved most. He took great pride in his yard, spending hours tending the garden, caring for the lawn, and nurturing his fishpond-a place that brought him peace and joy. When the yard didn't need attention, Keith could be found in the garage working on woodworking projects or refinishing antique furniture for family and friends. He poured care into every piece he touched, taking pride in creating something meaningful for others.
Keith also loved to relax in warm places. He enjoyed many cruises and countless trips to the beach, especially Sanibel Island, Florida, where he would walk for hours collecting seashells. Those quiet walks, surrounded by sun and shoreline, were among his happiest moments.
Keith will be truly missed by all who loved him. His legacy lives on in the kindness he showed, the work he crafted with his hands, and the deep love he shared with his family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Five Acres Animal Shelter, both of which held a special place in his heart.
