Keith “Bo” Hill

Keith “Bo” Lamar Hill, of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021 at the age of 89. Bo is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Hill and his parents, Clyde Phelps and Susie Hill.

Bo is survived by his current wife, Joyce Hill; his children, Debra (David) Chaney, Mary Hill, Keith (Sue) Hill, Jr.; his grandchildren, Ann (Jimmy) Connell, David (Elizabeth) Chaney, Alyssa (Andrew) Sansoucie, Beau Hill, and Zachary Hill; and his great-grandchildren, Madison and David Chaney.

Bo was a member and trustee at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. He worked nearly 35 years for McDonnell-Douglas, worked closely with America’s original first 7 astronauts and was instrumental in the first manned space programs, serving on the Launch Crew for the Mercury and Gemini, and worked on Apollo, Skylab and Space Shuttle projects. Bo enjoyed fishing, refurbishing Model T and Model A automobiles, and watching his St. Louis Cardinals Baseball. Bo was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Bo's name to Alzheimer's Association or Wounded Warrior.
