Katie Centorbi

February 20, 1973 — August 28, 2022

Katie Marie Centorbi was born on February 20, 1973 and departed from us on August 28, 2022.  She is survived by her parents, Rich & Sally Montgomery.  She was the beloved wife of Derek Centorbi for 25 years, and mother of Tyler (Maria) Centorbi and Alex Centorbi.

Katie was a loving person to everyone she met.  She always put everyone else's interests before her own and would do anything she could to help other people.  She was an amazing mother, daughter, granddaughter and wife.  She raised two boys and saw them through college and onto the beginning of the rest of their lives.  She loved them with every piece of her heart.

Katie’s love of golf started more than 20 years ago, and she looked forward to meeting up with her husband and friends for a round just about every week.  She enjoyed traveling, especially where she could visit a casino during her stay.  Her favorite destination was to their condo at the lake and going boating.

As a woman with superior taste, Katie always enjoyed a good shopping trip and finding nice things.  She was also very crafty and loved making decorations for parties and events.  She looked forward to the holidays, especially Christmas and Halloween, when she could create a spectacular display for her family and friends.  She was very particular with everything, and her home was always wonderful, warm, and inviting.  To go along with her incredible talent for events, she was also a very good cook and made fantastic desserts and dishes.

Katie was the most giving person and very humble at the same time.  She was smart, witty, and had a great sense of humor.  She loved her family dearly and spending time with them was very important to her.  She enjoyed playing games with her family and was very competitive, especially when it came to Cornhole tournaments in the back yard.

Katie was taken from us too soon, but she left behind an amazing family that she crafted with her delicate loving hands.  She made enough people happy for a thousand lifetimes.  The legacy of her commitment and love will be forever remembered and cherished eternally.
