Kathy Walden

Kathy Gale Walden (nee Dailey), of Monroe City, MO, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2026 at the age of 68. Cherished daughter of the late Arthur and Mildred Dailey; devoted mother of Jason Walden and Jeremy (Krystal) Walden; loving grandmother of Caleb Walden and Colton Walden; dear sister of William Dailey, Cheryl Newman, Sandy Marsala and the late Carol Dailey.

Kathy found joy in the simple things that made life special. She enjoyed making crafts and woodworking, and she took great pride in decorating her home for every season and holiday. She loved fishing, cooking, shopping, and going to garage sales, always enjoying the thrill of finding a good bargain. Some of her happiest times were spent with her family, especially going out on the boat with her sons and making memories together.

Kathy was a longtime member of North Side Missionary Baptist Church, where she was baptized and remained a cherished part of the church family.

Kathy was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her loving spirit, warm heart, and the memories she created with those she loved will remain in their hearts forever.
