Kathryn Krueger

Kathryn Ann Krueger (nee Kennedy), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024, at the age of 86. Beloved wife of the late Ronald A. Krueger for 59 years; devoted mother of Karen (Jeff) Pardieck; loving grandmother of Jenna Kathryn; dear sister of the late Patricia (the late Albert) Cooper, Nancy (the late Marvin) Birkemeier, the late Jane (the late Robert) Kohnen, and the late Stephen (MaryAnn) Kennedy; beloved aunt of 15 nieces and nephews.

Kathryn was born and raised in Alton, Illinois to Stephen and Lillian Kennedy on March 2, 1936. She is a proud graduate of Marquette High School. Upon graduation, she took a job at McDonnell Douglas, where she met Ron. They married at Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Alton on May 14, 1960. They lived in Berkeley and Florissant before moving to O’Fallon in 1996. She and Ron enjoyed weekends at the Lake of the Ozarks as well as vacations around the country and to Ireland, Mexico, and Spain. She was very proud of her Irish heritage and loved celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. She loved spending time with family. Kathryn was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Kathryn (the late Ronald’s) honor to the Parkinson's Foundation or to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
