Kathleen Mae Price

Kathleen Mae Price (nee Kern), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Friday, September 19, 2025, at the age of 70. Loving wife of Sterling F. Price; beloved daughter of the late Lester and Charlotte Kern; devoted mother of Jason Kern, and Heather Pokorney; cherished grandmother of Kyle Pokorney.

Kathleen was passionate about computer science, earning her bachelor’s degree in computer science from Lindenwood University and becoming a Microsoft Certified Professional Systems Engineer. She was also a devoted caregiver, an animal lover—especially of dogs—and a talented baker and cook. Her award-winning gooey butter cake was a family favorite.

Kathleen enjoyed playing games and dominoes, and her strong spirit and determined nature meant she always spoke her mind. She faced a six-year battle with ovarian cancer with remarkable courage and strength, passing at the age of 70.

Kathleen was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
