Kathleen "Kathy" Gatzke

Kathleen “Kathy” Gatzke (nee Cummings), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at the age of 78. Loving wife of the late Timothy David Gatzke; beloved daughter of the late Dorothy and Frederick S. Cummings; devoted mother of Christopher (Abby) Gatzke and Jonathan (Christie) Gatzke; cherished grandmother of Foster and Felicity Gatzke, Trevor and Kendall Gatzke; dear sister of Judith (the late Robert) Eckert, and Janet (Bernard) Tonjes; sister-in-law of Gayle Gatzke; and is survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her brother, Paul Cummings.

Kathy was a retired registered nurse who later devoted her time as a teacher assistant at Child of God Lutheran School. She was a lifelong and faithful member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where she found great joy singing in the choir. Kathy loved traveling and cherished her dog, Mini, who brought her constant companionship and happiness. Kathy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
