Scherr, Kathleen (Kathy) Ann Molloy was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to James and Winifred Molloy. Kathy moved to St. Ann when she was twelve years old to live with her father and stepmother Loraine. She attended ten schools in ten years and culminated her education at Ritenour High School and Florissant Valley Community College. In 1981 Kathy obtained her real estate license and was associated with Ira Berry, which became Coldwell Banker. Kathy was part of the national Relocation Department, servicing corporate accounts for people being transferred out of the area. She marketed and sold houses left behind. Kathy retired in 1999 and held her license as Kathy Scherr Reality. Kathy married Frank B. Scherr in 1953 and had three children: Cheryl Scherr (Ken Isaak), Michelle (Michael) Buono, and Francis B. Scherr. Kathy has one "Perfect" granddaughter, Kristen Kathleen Rose Buono. Kathy's sister Rose Marie Molloy Bergman preceded her in death. Kathy is survived by her brother's Joe and Pam Molloy, Gary and Paige Shipley, and John and Moe Shipley. Kathy volunteered in Girl Scouts when her daughters were small. Kathy was a Cookie Chairman, Assistant Leader, Troop Leader, Senior Advisor, Consultant, Neighborhood Chairman, District Chair, Chairman of the field Committee and member of the Board of Directors of the St. Louis Girl Scout Council. She was a member of the St. Charles Association of Realtors, committee chair of numerous committees of the association and served on the board of directors for two terms. The Association awarded her "Realtor of the Year" in 1999. She was an active member of Women's Council of Realtors and served as Treasurer for two terms. Kathy chaired and was a member of numerous WCR committees. Kathy was awarded WCR member of the year in 1990 and 1992. Kathy is survived by her Husband, children, granddaughter, brothers, brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, Godchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. "Kathy lived her life to the fullest and on her own terms."
