Karis Ann Watkins

Karis Ann Watkins (nee Ussery), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at the age of 70. Cherished daughter of the late Dorothy Belle and Hoyt D. Ussery, Jr. Devoted mother of Pax Ananda Zachariah DeBejar, Birdie Ann Drennan, and Bobby Watkins; loving grandmother of Justice Orion Ann Kannady and Michael Hoyt Kannady; dear sister of Hoyt D. (Janet) Ussery, III and Madith (Mike) Johnson.

Karis had a deep appreciation for history and genealogy, always eager to uncover the stories of the past. She had a keen eye for photography, capturing moments both big and small with artistic detail. In her free time, she also enjoyed immersing herself in video games, finding both challenge and adventure in virtual worlds. Karis was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
