Karen Zarf

Karen Lee Zarf (nee Hughes), of Wentzville, MO, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023 at the age of 70. Beloved wife of the late Frederick Joseph Zarf; cherished daughter of the late Carolyn Hughes; devoted mother of Fred (Melissa) Zarf; loving grandmother of Reagan Dignon; sister of Nancy Levine.

Karen was very charitable, she loved volunteering at the food bank and nursery at Fee Fee Baptist Church. She was always patient, positive and willing to go with the flow. Karen built lifelong friendships during her time working for the Hazelwood School District where she guided and mentored numerous students.

Karen was fiercely protective of her family, and loved making dinners which were always delicious. In her free time she would watch The Walton’s, Seinfeld and ER over and over again. Iced tea and milk duds were the key to her heart.

Karen was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
