Karen Susan Dolinar (nee Hohlt), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at the age of 73. Beloved wife of the late Dr. David John Dolinar; cherished daughter of the late Edward and Gloria (nee Springer) Hohlt. Devoted mother of David (Kim) Dolinar, Steven Dolinar, and Lisa (Nick) Striegel; loving grandmother of Kelsey Beelek, Lauren Everett, Alicia Everett, Lily Striegel, Avery Striegel, Clara Striegel, and Kellen Striegel; dear sister and friend to many.
Karen, who was called “Kare” by her friends, had a warm soul. She was very caring and compassionate. Karen loved to dance around and be silly and watch stuff on YouTube. She volunteered her time at a Christian-based thrift store where she made many friends. More than anything, Karen loved her family and put all her efforts into caring for them. Karen was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
