Karen Sue Hodge

Karen Sue Hodge (nee Weiss), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Friday, October 16, 2026, at the age of 68. Beloved wife of Al Hodge Jr.; cherished daughter of the late Mildred and Virgil Wiess; devoted mother of Nathan (Michelle) Hodge and Matt (Abbi) Hodge; loving grandmother of Virgil, Wyatt, and Emmett Hodge; dear sister of David (Marcia) Wiess

Karen had been an active member of Ridgecrest Baptist church before she became ill. She enjoyed spending time with family. She also loved to read, do crossword puzzles, and play board games. Karen collected stamps, music boxes, and tea pots. Christmas was one of her favorite holidays, and she would make Christmas cookies every year. She was an avid Cardinals baseball fan and she enjoyed camping. Karen was a devoted mother who was a very involved parent when her boys were young. She loved her family so much. She and Al were high school sweethearts and married for 46 wonderful years. Together they cherished raising their kids. Karen was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Karen's name to Missouri Baptist Children’s Home.
