Julie Ann Gessner

Chesterfield, Missouri

 Julie A. Gessner, 64, passed away on January 25, 2026. She was born on January 19, 1962, to the late James W. and Joy L. (Wahl) Gessner. She was the sister of James A. Gessner and Jeffrey T. Gessner; the aunt of the late Jessica L. Gessner, as well as Austin J. Gessner, Hannah L. Gessner, and Alyssa M. Gessner; and the dear friend of Karen Skul and Barbara Wolff.

Julie lived a full and meaningful life and will be fondly remembered for more than 32 years of service in the Parkway West High School library, where she worked after graduating. She was a valued member of The Willows Independent Living community and especially enjoyed playing Rummikub and bingo with her friends. Julie was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, known for her extensive knowledge and love of the team.

Family and friends extend a special thank you to Ed Roth, Lisa Kopis, Kathleen Sherby, and Dr. Barbara Jost for their care, support, and kindness throughout the years.

Julie was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Central Institute for the Deaf.
