Julianne L. Richie

Julianne “Julie” L. Richie (nee Reining), of O Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026 at the age of 70. Beloved wife of Bruce Richie; cherished daughter of the late Bud Reining and Delores Reinders; devoted mother of Bret Richie and Tyson (Jessica) Richie; loving grandmother of Brice Richie and Brayden Richie; dear sister of Michele Tabbone, Skip Reining, Mark (Elizabeth) Reinders and Derrick (Jackie) Reinders.

Julie spent most of her life teaching sixth-grade science, a role she truly loved. She found joy at the lake, riding wave runners and going on boat rides. She cherished time with her grandchildren and even stepped back into the role of teacher during COVID, helping guide them while they were out of school. Julie enjoyed playing golf and, in her younger years, loved bowling. She was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Julie's name to Parkinson's Foundation.
