Judith Kay Korte

October 30, 1953 — March 14, 2024

Dardenne Prairie, Missouri

Judith Kay Korte (nee Thomas), of Dardenne Prairie, MO, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024, at the age of 70. Beloved wife of James G. Korte; cherished daughter of the late Gerald D. and Rosemary Thomas. Devoted mother of Matt (Nicki) Korte and Michelle (Tim) Loftus; loving grandmother of Kasey Korte and Dayton Korte. Preceded in death by her sister, Terry L. Colter.

Judith was a devout Catholic and was married for almost 43 years come September. For 40 years, she served as a registered nurse at Christian Hospital, excelling as a caregiver with boundless love. Outdoors, she found solace, tending to her garden or delighting in moments with her grandchildren at the park. Traveling and savoring delicious cuisine were among her passions. Yet above all, Judith cherished moments spent with her loved ones. A pillar of support, she was the first person everyone turned to, ever ready to offer a comforting hand and unwavering support through life's trials. Judith was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Judith's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
