Joyce J. Morris

Joyce J. Morris (nee Jones), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Clarence F. Morris; cherished daughter of the late Ira and Della Jones; devoted mother of Walter Keith (the late Jo Ellen) Cross, Roxann (Brian) Higgins, Kevin Cross, the late Rodney Cross, the late Kerry Cross and the late Kimberly Colbert; loving grandmother of Shane Cross, Shannon Cross, Chad Cross, Royce Cross, Cara Cross, Colton Cross, Amanda Cross, Danial Cross, Steven Cross, Nathan Cross and the late Renzy Cross; treasured great-grandmother to many; dear sister of the late Everett Jones, Jr., the late Nola Saulters and the late Iona Trendley, the late Jack Jones. 

Joyce was a proud member of the NEA and VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was an election poll worker for many years.  

Joyce was a wonderful woman, she was small but mighty, and had the kindest soul. She loved traveling and being outdoors, she especially loved to take the family camping. Joyce owned a home and spent winters at Lake Okeechobee in Florida, maybe one of her favorite places of all. She was a collector; she collected driftwood and finished them into beautiful pieces. She was a wonderful mother and will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
