Joyce Elizabeth Martin (nee Falgout), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late George J. Martin; devoted daughter of the late Lester and Elizabeth Falgout; loving mother of Gary Martin, Glen (Mikyong) Martin, Theresa Ann (Steve) Palmer, and George Martin Jr.; cherished grandmother of nine; precious great-grandmother of seven. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews as well as other relatives and friends. Joyce was preceded in death by her son, Robert (Yvette surviving) Martin, and her grandson, Scott Palmer.
Joyce was a proud member of AARP. She loved to travel. Joyce never met a stranger and enjoyed meeting new people wherever she went. There was not a friend she had not met! Joyce often spent time with these friends. She loved going to Silver & Gold events to cherish time with old and new friends alike. In her free time, she was an avid bookworm and enjoyed going bowling. She was also an active participant in her Curves fitness club.
Joyce was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joyce's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
