Joyce Ruth Burkholder

Joyce Ruth Burkholder (nee Main), of Wentzville, MO, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late James F. Burkholder Sr.; cherished daughter of the late Hiram Henry and Ruth Lucille Main; devoted mother of Sherry L. (John) Schultz, James F. (Teresa) Burkholder Jr., and Sandra R. (Tim) Graves; loving grandmother of Shawn Brooks(Will Burke), Ryan Burkholder, Leah Burkholder, Kelly (Preston) Gebhart, Kameron (Alex) Moses, and Carter Graves; treasured great grandmother of DJ, Brandon, Zachary (Emily), Tyler, Corbin, Haiden, Aly, Joslyn, Hazel, and great-great grandmother of Liam; dear sister of the late Hiram Henry Main Jr.

Joyce was married to the love of her life, James, for 60 wonderful years, and together they shared a love for RVing with their club, camping, gardening, and hobbies like coin collecting, drawing, and crossword puzzles. A talented and creative soul, Joyce had a deep appreciation for the arts, often knitting and crafting beautiful projects. Her warm, outgoing nature meant she never met a stranger, and her kindness, gentle spirit, and deep love for animals made her especially beloved by those around her. Joyce was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
