Joseph “Joey” L. Keiling, of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the age of 96. Loving husband of the late Mary Keiling; beloved son of the late Joseph and Mildred Keiling; devoted father of John Keiling; cherished grandfather of Justin (Scarlett) Davis, Makenzie (Mason) Bailey, Jonathan Keiling, Addison Keiling, and Malorie Keiling. Joey is also preceded in death by his sister, Joan (Al) Zeis.
Joey enjoyed a life filled with family, friendships, and the activities he loved most. An avid camper, golfer, and bowler, he proudly served as President of the Missouri Deaf Golf Association and was actively involved with the Greater St. Louis Deaf Association., where he built lasting friendships and a strong sense of community. Joey was a skilled carpenter who loved building and creating, from woodworking projects to intricate model airplanes. He dedicated 40 years of service to McDonnell Douglas before enjoying 30 years of well-earned retirement. Above all, Joey adored his family and treasured the time spent with those he loved. Joey was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorials may be made in Joey's name to the Alzheimer's Association .
