Mattingly, Joseph E. "Joe", of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the age of 87. Loving husband of 66 years to Raedell J. Mattingly (nee: Keiser); beloved son of the late William Jesse and Genevieve Mattingly; devoted father of Pamela D. (Andrew) Anderson and Joseph E. (Mary Kay) Mattingly, Jr.; cherished grandfather of Kimberly (Rob) Laustrup, Hollie (Brian) Bogue, Julie (Ed) Lamkie, John (Makayla) Anderson, Sarah (Brian) Mansfield, Chad Unterreiner, Amy McCarthy, Adam Mattingly and Emily Mattingly; treasured great-grandfather of Ashley, Justin, Peter, Morgan, Caleb, Katelyn, Sydney, Nicholas, Margaret, Elyssa, Samuel, Genevieve, Anna, Henry, Andrew, Kirsten, Elizabeth, Olivia, Jana, Luke, Evan, Wyatt, Jack and Parker; dear great-great-grandfather of Landon; beloved brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to many. He is preceded in death by his sisters Ruth Hoover and Helen Hunt, and brothers William Mattingly and Paul Mattingly.
