John V. Darter

Memorials may be given to American Heart Association or Charity of Donor's Choice. Beloved husband of the late Lola M. Darter; loving father of Patricia J. Contis, and Jerry L. Darter; dear father-in-law of Valerie Darter; proud grandfather of 7, great-grandfather of 22. Preceded in death by son, John L. Darter; parents, Leslie and Lillie Darter; and, two brothers, Harold and Gene Darter. Mr. Darter served in the U.S. Army Air Force from 1943 to 1945. He was employed by Lincoln Engineering for 42 years as a Millwright prior to his retirement. He was a retired member of the UAW and loved gardening and his family.
