John Richard Trimble

John Richard Trimble, of Saint Louis, MO, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023, at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Sheila Trimble; cherished son of the late William and Hildred Trimble; devoted father of Ken (Susan) Trimble, and Marc Trimble; loving grandfather of Zachary, Kaitlin, Chloe, Charlie, and Tony Trimble; dear brother to Barb Bettlach, and Sally (Mike) Ecker. John was preceded in death by three brothers: Charlie Trimble, Bill Trimble, and Jim Trimble, two sisters, Mary Vornberg, and Martha Graham, and his stepfather, Harry Adler.

During his formative years, John actively participated in his family's business endeavors, and his professional journey led him to join the Missouri Pacific Railroad, initially in the mail room and ultimately achieving the position of Senior Director of Communication and Services before retiring. As a devoted father, he wholeheartedly embraced roles as a soccer and baseball coach for his children, in addition to serving as a dedicated Boy Scout leader, shaping the lives of young individuals. John's leisure pursuits included a passion for soccer and a love for the serenity of fishing, embracing these pursuits with enthusiasm. John loved family get togethers, especially when all the little great nieces and nephews were involved. John's charming disposition won the affection of numerous individuals, and his absence will be profoundly felt by all fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.

Memorials may be made in John's name to Shriners Hospital for Children.
