John Roger Colbert
January 12, 1946 — October 11, 2020
John Roger Colbert of Saint Peters, MO, passed away at the age of 74 on Sunday, October 11, 2020. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marguerite Colbert; his daughter, Christina Dorothy Colbert; and his parents, Melvin and Dorothy Colbert.
John is survived by his son, James (Melissa) Colbert; his grandchildren, Anderson and Charlotte Colbert; and his sister, Diana Lou (Steve) McAllister.
John was a dedicated stamp collector with a particular interest in collecting stamps on their first day of issue. He was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and never missed an opportunity to watch one of their games and cheer on the team he loved. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial contributions in John’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Services will be private due to COVID-19.
